Remote Windows malware removal

Remove the threat. Clean up the PC.

Unexpected pop-ups, browser redirects, suspicious programs, and security warnings deserve a careful review. This service combines malware removal with a complete Windows PC tune-up.

Based in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Remote virus and malware assistance is available throughout the United States. Limited on-site support may be available in Manheim and nearby Lancaster County communities.

Warning signs

Something feels wrong with your computer.

Malware does not always announce itself clearly. Some infections create obvious pop-ups, while others change browser behavior, add unfamiliar programs, slow the PC, interfere with security tools, or run quietly in the background.

A frightening message that tells you to call a phone number may itself be a scam rather than a legitimate Windows warning. Do not call a number simply because it appeared in a pop-up. Contact a support provider using contact information you independently recognize and trust.

Constant pop-ups

Advertisements or warnings keep returning even after the browser is closed and reopened.

Browser redirects

Your search engine, homepage, extensions, or visited pages change unexpectedly.

Unknown programs

Unfamiliar software, toolbars, notifications, or startup items appear without a clear reason.

Security interference

Windows security tools are disabled, scans fail, or unusual warnings keep appearing.

Questions

Virus and malware removal FAQ

Can malware removal be completed remotely?

Many Windows malware infections can be investigated and cleaned remotely when the PC can start, connect to the internet, and run the support software. Severe damage, encryption, or failing hardware may require a different recovery path.

Can The Repair Nerds connect without permission?

No. You initiate the support request and approve the remote connection. You can see the session and remain in control.

Does cleaning the PC secure compromised accounts?

Cleaning removes detected threats from the computer, but compromised email, banking, shopping, or social accounts may also require password changes and direct contact with the provider. We explain appropriate next steps based on the findings.

What happens if the problem is not actually malware?

We diagnose before beginning repair work. If the symptoms fit a different service, we explain the finding and applicable price before proceeding.

What if more than two hours is needed?

Additional active support time is $35 per 30 minutes. We discuss the situation and obtain your approval before adding time or charges.
