About us

Hi, I'm AJ Roth, owner and president of The Repair Nerds. I founded the business in Manheim, Pennsylvania in 2012. I help homes and small businesses with Windows PCs over a secure remote connection. There is no walk-in shop. You decide when we connect, you can watch what happens, and you can end the session anytime.

My path is rooted in hands-on IT. Working with IT companies serving the Harrisburg area, I supported residential and commercial clients remotely and on-site, including the technology infrastructure of a four-story retirement community. I also served as a project manager and lead on-site technician, coordinating IT implementations, documenting networks, and guiding clients through serious recovery situations. Separately, I managed day-to-day operations for a 20-person team at a local entertainment venue. That technical foundation is what drives every Repair Nerds session.

When you let someone remote into your machine, you are trusting them with your files, your accounts, and your day. I also work as a Customer Experience Specialist, where I resolve high-volume support cases and mentor teammates. I built The Repair Nerds on the idea that trust is earned through real IT experience, transparency, and getting it right the first time.
